Living Learning Communities

Living Learning Communities (LLCs) at Georgetown University integrate academics with outside interests. You can live with others who share your enthusiasm about a topic and grow with each other throughout the academic year. These unique living environments provide for opportunities to deeply engage in professional and personal ventures, giving students access to outside of the classroom faculty interactions. Students partaking in a Living Learning Community go on off campus trips, host educational programs, and socialize with those they connect with most.

Although each LLC has a different theme, the overall goals are to:

  • Enhance overall educational experience
  • Foster learning through group activities
  • Establish a sense of community
  • Encourage support and respect of each other and the program
  • Promote the LLC themes throughout the University
